We are currently recruiting for a Night Warehouse Supervisor opportunity for a family run logistics company based in North Weald.

The role is to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods.

The requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding and the highest standards of health and safety at all times. Also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successfulworking of the warehouse.

Some of the main duties -- Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
- Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
- Load trailers with customer goods in timely manner
- Manual handling of products
- Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
- Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
- Stock integrity and quality checks.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport teams; planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, and dispatch of goods
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing suppliers.
- Planning and conducting perpetual inventory counts and stock takes.
- Ensuring that staff deal with all stock queries quickly and efficiently
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
- Plan all relevant customer deliveries utilizing the software available at site to ensure delivery windows are met.
- Liaise with the Driver in relation to delays and possible issues with delivery.
- To be a point of contact via phone during silent or out of hours.
- Route / Schedule all pallettline vehicles for the following day
- Amend and adjust update TMS as required.
