**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring that their individual needs are met.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment for children to explore and learn.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

**Skills**
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively while promoting positive behaviour.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for childcare and child development.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences within the nursery environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£11.80 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
