To obtain and collect blood samples as requested by the clinical staff To assist with the care of patients physical, personal, psychological and social needs, ensuring that a high standard of patient care is achieved whilst at work and within a safe environment. Review of patients care needs including wound assessments on a regular basis To carry out new patient health checks including blood pressures BPs, ECGs and injections/vaccinations, Cryotherapy, assisting baby clinic with admin, ordering stock. Supporting in the management of long-term conditions To actively participate in training opportunities as provided to ensure competence is maintained and updated to promote improved patient care and staff development. To develop effective relationships with staff, patients and relatives to maintain a high standard of care and to identify ways in which patient care can be improved.

To assist with the ordering, storage rotation and issue of stocks and supplies, to ensure proper usage and waste avoidance and the policies and procedures contained within the system. To participate in the identification and monitoring of patient care needs to provide accurate information for the planning and delivery of care. To assist in the monitoring of QOF and any other contract that is in force throughout employment. To chaperone medical staff during examination of the patient Maintenance of accurate records Undertake such other duties that are required commensurate with the role
