**About The Role**: **Penbridge School**is seeking to appoint a vibrant and nurturing **Year Leader - Juniors**to join our talented team in the Junior School from **September 2025**. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher and emerging leader who is looking to take the next step in their professional journey or for an established Year Lead ready for a new challenge. **Key Responsibilities**: - For a full list of responsibilities please see the attached job description_ - **Lead, support and inspire** a team of teachers and teaching assistants within the year group. - **Drive high standards** in teaching, learning and assessment. - **Monitor and support** pupil progress, behaviour, and well-being. - **Coordinate planning and curriculum** delivery to ensure consistency and progression. - **Act as a role model** of outstanding classroom practice. **What you will need to succeed**: - **Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)**and recent successful teaching experience at the primary level. - **A strong understanding** of the primary curriculum and assessment. - **Proven leadership skills** or leadership potential. - **Excellent communication**, interpersonal and organisational abilities. - **A passion for teaching** and a commitment to pupil achievement and well-being. **Join us in making a difference to young lives and help shape the future at Penbridge School** **About Us**: Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School. The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit.
