**Structural Soils Ltd** part of the **RSK Group** due to the growth of our team, are currently looking to add a **General Operative** located in **Avonmouth, Bristol** to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys manual, mainly outdoors work, with some deliveries and occasional warehouse work. We focus on career progression and encourage internal promotion of our staff and there are opportunities for progression into drilling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working outside throughout the year in varying locations around the UK (staying away is often required; all expenses paid)
- Assisting Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations
- Undertaking general labouring duties e.g., erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivery of consumables, hand dug inspection pits and collection of samples
- Manual handling and moving heavy items, plus training in the use of some site equipment and plant
- Assisting with tasks in the Warehouse
- opportunities to work on all of our rig types

**Desired Attributes**:

- You will have a flexible approach to working with a focus of delivering results
- You will be reliable and have good time-keeping skills
- You will enjoy working as a team and have the ability to work individually on tasks
- You will be able to carry out physically challenging tasks
- You will be able to follow strict industry health and safety and environmental standards
- You will have a full driving licence is essential
- A CSCS Card is desirable but not essential

**Salary and benefits**:

- Salary £25,500 for a 45 hour week with potential for overtime
- Expenses paid
