**Fisher of Newbury is a family-owned fresh produce distribution business based in Newbury, Berkshire. We've been around for more than seventy years and are now the region's leading supplier of fresh produce to both the catering trade and private customers.**

You will be working in the warehouse, handling stock and deliveries and making deliveries in a Jumbo Transit sized van.

Start time for this role is 5:45am until approx 10:45am with the flexibility to work longer if the business needs it. It is a varied role which will mainly ben around the warehouse making order, handling stock. You will be a back up driver for drivers holidays and an extra driver on busier days. When covering driver holidays the hours will be slightly more but should be finished by 12/1pm latest.

Flexibility to also work Saturdays with notice

Select and weigh produce, and assemble orders accurately from a ‘picking note’ - which might also contain customer-specific instructions to follow.

Move pallets around the warehouse, safely using a hand pump truck

Be responsible for quality control and discuss any issues with the management team

Stock cotrol will be a large part of this role, managing large deliveries and keeping stock in good order (date rotation)

Help unload delivery vehicles and place goods in the correct rotational place in the cold store

Keep your own work station clean and tidy with all equipment ready to start next shift

Clean work areas such as the cold store and the warehouse ready to put trolleys away

Make sure the warehouse is clean and tidy ready for the next time shift this will include sweeping, changing bin bags and putting away fresh produce, dairy, ambient and frozen deliveries.

We offer an attendance bonus scheme. This is 5% of total gross monthly pay if all criteria are met.

**We operate 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£14.17 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
