Milkwood House is a 38 bed residential care home in Liss. We are looking for an experience Kitchen Assistant to join our team

**Job Type / Category**
- 24 - 32 hours per week

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience working in catering and nursing home kitchen is preferable to meet high standards

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare food for residents
- Help assist with evening snacks
- Dishing up suppers
- Promote high standards
- Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean
- To complete jobs that the chef has asked you to do
- To be able to work well with in a team as well as on your own
- Good listening and speaking skills
- Good communication skills
- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
- To be kind and caring to our residents

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.90 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
