We are looking for a Cook to join our friendly catering team at the Rose Garden Retirement Village in Hereford.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking home-style meals on location, whilst also ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the catering service. Duties also include raising orders in line with financial procedures, stock control and ensuring all food preparation complies with health and safety policies.

As a Cook within our Retirement Village, you'll be a valued part of a tight-knit team that loves the buzz of working under pressure in our well-known business. This role will give you the freedom to contribute to the menu and present new ideas for menu options.

We will offer training and career progression opportunities, as you will develop your skills in the role.

**Some things we need from you**:
You will have experience in a catering role, providing home-cooked style meals. An NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Catering or demonstrable experience would be required.

As you will have responsibility for the smooth running of the catering facility, you would ideally have experience in managing or supervising, although this is only desirable. You will be reliable, approachable and helpful, with a can-do attitude.

This is a full-time vacancy working 35 per hours per week between 8am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
