Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a teaching hospital that is one of the largest Trusts in the country based in the East Midlands. The trust has five hospitals across the region and over 12,500 members of staff that provides service to a population of more than one million and provides clinical services in 48 specialties.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of the Paediatric Service regarding Emergency and Neonatal intensive care
- To support the senior decision-makers in the Emergency Department and on the General Paediatric Wards
- Teaching & training of junior staff, and medical students
- To actively participate in both departmental & Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance & audit.
**_Essential Requirements:_**
- MBBS/MBCHB or equivalent
- Training in Child Protection/Safeguarding (min level 3)
- MRCPCH Part 1
- Evidence of achievement of core ST1-ST3 competencies or equivalent for general paediatrics and neonates including resuscitation.
- 4 years of full-time postgraduate experience including a minimum of 2 years in paediatrics and neonatal care worked in a UK or Ireland health care setting
