My client is global research and consulting firm who has provided unparalleled actionable insights for over 30 years to global asset and wealth management firms.
The position will be based within the London office and will be reporting into the Director, European Retail and the Director of institutional.
Our clients Retail team are researching and analysing asset management product and development practices and strategies, distribution trends, regulatory changes, and their impact on the industry.

Key Responsibilities will include:
You will be developing and creating the suite of research publications produced by the company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
You will be working closely with the lead research analysts to develop and analyse proprietary surveys and interfacing with the survey analysts to administer survey and chart data results.
You will support lead analysts by scheduling and attending research calls and meetings with senior executives, you will also be asked to take minutes from those meetings and give key insights.
You will be collaborating with other analysts and members of the team to provide monthly and quarterly publications which will include data gathering, analysis, chart creation and assembly.
You will collect and compile both qualitative and quantitative datasets to provide analysis which will be directly communicated to Morningstar Direct, Broadridge, as well as other third-party databases (e.g national and international industry associations,data providers and industry trade bodies)
You will be helping develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, asset managers, industry trade associations, third party data vendors and government agencies.
You will develop and propose new analysis for my clients proprietary research.
You will be participating in researching efforts by identifying key topics of interest and providing ideas and input throughout the report cycle.

1 - 3 years’ experience in asset management any experience in investment writing and research / analysis would be preferable.
Superior quantitative acumen is a must; strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyse large amounts of data with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of the retail & institutional asset management industry.
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Must have a bachelor’s degree preferably in business, finance or economics
