**About the Role**

This is a rare opportunity to join the senior management team of a diverse, inclusive and high-performing faculty in an ambitious modern university The Associate Dean (P&Q) is a leading member of the Faculty's senior management team, and will work collaboratively with the Dean and fellow Associate Deans to ensure that the Faculty is managed to the highest standards both strategically and operationally.

This post carries overall lead responsibility for the continuous development and vigorous promotion of a culture of academic excellence within the Faculty. The Associate Dean (Planning & Quality) works with the Dean, Associate Deans, and Heads of Department (collectively the Faculty Management Group) and a wide range of other colleagues within and beyond the Faculty to ensure that strategies and quality procedures are developed, supported and promoted to underpin the appropriate University strategies.

**About You**

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.

You will have well-honed influencing skills and successful experience of strategic planning. A deep knowledge of HE quality-assurance and enhancement processes is critical to success in this role.
