Marina Operative

We currently have a vacancy for a Marina Operative position.

This is a full-time position, working on a 2 week rotational pattern, 0730-1930 with a requirement to alter working pattern to cover Holiday/Sickness on both Day/Night shifts.

The successful applicant will be required to attend a 3-day First Aid at work course, health and safety training and familiarisation training in the first month.

Applicants must:

- Be committed to delivering the highest standards of customer service at all time
- Be self-motivated with a proven ability to work without supervision
- Be practical, resourceful and have a common sense approach
- Be enthusiastic and friendly with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Have good practical skills and have or be willing to receive the necessary boatyard training
- Be able to swim at least 25m
- Have a good level of physical fitness as manual lifting is required at times
- Be computer literate

Desirable but not essential skills for this role are:

- Good practical boating skills
- Marina experience
- Ability to carry out general maintenance tasks
- Administration and cash handling skills
