**Thera East Anglia**has an exciting opportunity available for a **Senior Support Worker**to join us in **Littleport**. This role is available on a **full-time, shift work basis**, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of **up to £22,149.12 per annum.**

**Who are Thera Group?**

Thera Group are a charity that supports people with a learning disability. We want to demonstrate that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society but we can’t do this without you We need Senior Support Workers in Ely to make our visiona reality.

**What does a Senior Support Worker do?**

The role of a Senior Support Worker is to ensure the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.

Supporting someone with a learning disability isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.

A **Senior Support Worker** will do everything from taking the people supported on activities to helping administer the right medication. They will also mentor Support Workers and assist with the overall health and safety.

**What experience/qualifications you will need to be our Senior Support Worker?**

Some previous experience in supported living is useful but it isn’t a necessity. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is required and it is preferable that you have mentored others previously
