**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trailer components, including brakes, axles, and suspension systems.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks.
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks as required to ensure structural integrity.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Operate equipment Ramps & Jacks
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed to facilitate repairs or maintenance activities.

**Experience**
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with welding techniques, soldering, and fabrication processes is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with electrical systems in trailers or similar vehicles is advantageous.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8.00 - 16.30 per week
