**HR Administrator - Full-time**

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and people-oriented HR Administrator to join our expanding HR team.

This is a full-time position working five days a week. The role is based at the Ripon surgery, but attendance at other sites may be necessary from time to time.

The position involves supporting the HR Partner and Veterinary Business Manager in the administration and delivery of HR processes across the practice and the provision of administrative and logístical support to the Small Animal Department Managers to improve efficiency, reduce clinical impact and ensure Team Leader responsibilities are delivered in a timely fashion.

Typical duties include:

- Accurate and timely maintenance of personnel files to enable reliable reporting on and confidential storage of employee information.
- Scheduling, attending, minuting and contributing to Small Animal Department and HR process meetings. This will include identifying key action points arising and supporting team leaders in their delivery and deadlines, issuing team communications as required.
- Booking and preparing meeting rooms, arranging food and setting up IT equipment for meetings.
- Calculating and reporting on HR metrics as requested by team leaders.
- Calculating, maintaining and managing annual leave entitlements and requests across the practice.
- Preparing new employee documentation, uniform/equipment requirements and induction programmes and contributing to the delivery of the HR induction for new starters.
- Administrating performance and development reviews (PDRs), from scheduling the reviews to driving the PDR action points with team leaders, filing the necessary paperwork and reporting on PDR delivery.
- Administrating and accurately recording absences, ensuring appropriate return-to-work processes are followed and documentation received and providing the necessary information for payroll purposes.
- Supporting team leaders in the delivery, implementation, coordination and administration of continuing professional development (CPD) plans across the Small Animal Department.
