**Status**: Live-out

We are assisting an UHNWI with the recruitment of an experienced and vibrant full-time Housekeeper for their large property in Central London. Working alongside another housekeeper and reporting to a House Manager, you will ensure that this luxury property is maintained to the highest standard year-round. You will be well-presented and versatile, able to undertake housekeeping, laundry and service duties, and ideally come from a yachting background.

The property is not occupied most of the year and when the principal is not in residence, duties will focus the general upkeep and cleanliness of the home, including deep cleaning, and ensuring that the house is guest-ready at all times. When the principal is in residence (usually a few times a year for a week or two at a time) your role will predominantly be more service orientated, assisting the House Manager with formal and informal table service, event and party preparations, flower arranging and meeting and greeting guests.

The client is looking to appoint a Housekeeper who is personable, enthusiastic, energetic, and confident, as well as self-motivated and organised. As part of the role, you will also be required to work in the principal’s Swiss home for 2-3 months of the year, joining an established household team during busy periods. As an experienced housekeeper, you will have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and also know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes.

A live-out role, working hours are from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday when the principal is not in residence, but flexibility will be required when the house is occupied. When assisting at the Swiss property, you will work 5 days per week in a shift pattern and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the time that you are in Switzerland.

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- General cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, changing beds, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
- Wardrobe management, laundry care and ironing
- Packing and unpacking for trips and holidays
- Managing stocks of cleaning products and household pantry
- Flower arranging
- Assisting with formal and informal food & beverage service, meeting and greeting guests
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- Travelling to Switzerland for 2-3 months of the year

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- Prior experience as a stewardess on a yacht is highly desired
- Good knowledge of cleaning products and ability to care for high-end furnishings and fabrics
- Knowledge and experience of formal table service
- Fluency in English and eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Hardworking and dedicated; high attention to detail
- London-based with the ability and willingness to travel to Switzerland 2-3 months of the year
- Excellent checkable references

**Salary**: £50,000.00 per year
