**Head of Infrastructure, Portfolio Management**: **Closing date : 12/03/23** **A bit about the role...**: This is a leadership role. You will lead a team of 7 Portfolio Managers spread across several offices in England. Alongside other Heads, the Assistant Directors and the Director, the Head of Infrastructure undertakes an important leadership role within the Portfolio Management team. The Head has a critical role in leading a team of Portfolio Managers who support the delivery of homes through infrastructure funding. You will be joining our highly skilled team of property / lending professionals, who manage the Agency’s Recoverable loan book, dedicated to supporting the funding of Infrastructure to ultimately enable schemes for development by housebuilders for people to live in. Our team of Portfolio Managers manage a portfolio of loans from first draw down through to repayment, liaising and working alongside their Borrowers and key Partners such as Solicitors, Valuers and IMS firms to ensure delivery of homes. Loans typically fund the ‘Infrastructure’ works (e.g. Roads, Bridges, Roundabouts etc) needed to transform large site in to serviced land parcels for Housebuilders to come in to build much needed homes. The Head of Infrastructure, Portfolio Management will support their people through strong leadership, coaching and in their day-to-day involvement on schemes, including successfully managing delivery, credit and reputational risk. **A bit about you**: Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You'll be comfortable supporting your team with their role in portfolio managing a portfolio of loans, where our loan structuring includes ‘cashflow lending’. You will be proficient in the identification, mitigation and management of Emerging Risk within the loan book and in reacting to the market headwinds we are facing. You will be responsible for the stewardship of the loan book, including the related governance, control and oversight of the loans within the team’s portfolio, and ensuring that our internal processes are followed, and records maintained accurately. You will coach your team in how they manage their loans and in maintaining a strong relationship with their Borrowers, which at times can be challenging. You will support your team in progressing contract variations and high-quality credit risk report writing, where required. Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy.
