- Manage all planning activities including works order creation, scheduling and planning controls best practice
- Ensure work orders are aligned to required ship dates
- Daily review of order book and schedule new work accordingly
- Ensure materials are available prior to work order release
- Ensure that work orders are completed 2 days prior to intended shipping date
- Co-ordinate with the Operations team to ensure customer demand is aligned to available capacity, liaising daily with Shift Supervisors
- Work closely with Operations to minimise manufacturing inefficiencies through changeovers and line stops
- Drive collaborative forecasting between departments and premier customers
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Review FGS stock in line with planning schedules and Premier customers and adjust accordingly
- Actively support lean principles

**The person we’re looking for**:

- Minimum of 3 years production planning experience
- Problem Solving skills with knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques
- Good level of computer experience including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
