**Data Cable Engineer - Stoke-on-Trent - Onsite - Upto £40,000 per annum**
DataBuzz are recruiting a Data Cable Engineer on behalf of a prestigious organisation, who is looking for experienced Data Cabling Engineers to support growing business for projects in the Midlands and across the UK.
As a Data Cable Engineer, you will need to be competent with the installation and testing of structure cabling networks.
As a Data Cable Engineer, you will need to be skilled in both copper and fibre network infrastructure, able to troubleshoot faults on existing systems.
**Essential Experiences and Skills**:
- Run own projects unsupervised.
- Plot cable routes and install containment.
- Install, terminate and test copper and fibre optic systems.
- Install floor and wall mounted comms cabinets.
- Lead and coach junior engineers.
- Experience of installing WiFi Access Points, Audio Visual technology or some Electronic security experience such as CCTV, Door Access or Intruder Alarms
**Qualifications**:
As a Data Cable Engineer, you must either have:
City and Guilds 3667 Certificate in Communications Cabling Level 2 qualification or equivalent. Also hold a Datacomms Technician, Advanced Datacomms Specialist or Datacomms Specialist ECS CSCS Card
(Or)
A minimum of 3-5 years proven experience with references and photos of you work.
