**The Role of a Field Service Engineer**:
As a field service engineer, you will be servicing and maintaining floor cleaning machinery found predominantly in commercial and industrial environments. The equipment you are involved with ranges from ride-on scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners, to steamcleaners, carpet cleaners, and even robotic units. The role involves working on my client's battery and mains powered machines, but the issues you encounter are usually mechanical in nature. Larger more complex repair work is usually returned to the main workshop.It is predominantly a Mon-Fri role and the quality of your work is more important than the quantity, with door-to-door pay and working roughly 37.5 hours per week before overtime.
?You **MUST** have field service engineering experience
?A good mechanical understanding is **ESSENTIAL**
?Knowledge of large batteries is highly advantageous
?Engineers from mobile breakdown services, FLT, plant, HGV, Armed Forces or similar background are advised to apply
?You **MUST** hold a full driving licence
?You **MUST** have right to work in the UK

**The Package for a Field Service Engineer**:
?Up to £27,000-£30,000 basic salary + OT + annual bonus
