Our client, a global law firm, is looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager with experience working in professional services to join their growing communications team.

This is a newly created position, and you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the internal communications strategy for a specific part of the business that will feed into the wider communications strategy for the business.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who has previous experience being a business partner or trusted adviser to the senior leadership team or executive board. Someone with gravitas, confidence and the ability to push back and provide alternative solutionsto the key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

- Improving firm-wide employee engagement, developing and improving the intranet and other digital channels in place and increasing global communications and employee engagement with the support of communications champions and ambassadors based in officesacross the globe as well as supporting the firm's ambitious people, transformation and responsible business initiatives.
- Work with the Communications manager to develop and deliver a global internal communications strategy to inform and inspire your colleagues about the firm's vision, values and growth plans.
- Maintain and develop the communications channels and tools in place to engage, inform, and inspire your colleagues across the globe.
- Build and maintain relationships with your colleagues globally, across all levels, to increase and adopt best internal communications practices.
- Lead on developing communications plans for key transformation programmes, including a global programme supporting change in the way the firm thinks about how and where they work, with new workplaces, technology and working policies to help their peoplethrive.
- Managing the intranet (SharePoint) and creating both written and visual content, and developing the communications champions on best practices

Key skills and experience:

- Demonstratable Internal communications experience within a large, diverse, global organisation
- Excellent copywriting, editorial and proofreading skills
- Creative thinker with video editing and design skills
- Previous experience implementing, managing and continuously improving digital channels and working on various intranet platforms or CMS/CRM systems
- Digital measurement, metrics and data analysis experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to advise and influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels
