**Job Summary** **- Multi Drop Delivery Driver**

**Location - Derbyshire and surrounding areas**

We are looking for a multi drop delivery driver starting early mornings at 3am. This is a full time role with various finish times depending on the load for each day. It will be 5 days out of 7 and will include working Saturdays. Delivering bread and confectionary to local country houses, pubs, shops, and other local businesses. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety standards. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while upholding the company's reputation for quality service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive a van to deliver goods to various locations as per the delivery schedule.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that heavy lifting is conducted safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit.
- Communicate effectively with bakery staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of the delivery vehicle

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of delivery tasks.
- Good knowledge of local routes and areas.
