Production Planner

The Production Planner will optimise work centre efficiencies in line with delivery performance, whilst maintaining stock in line with the company strategy. They will also undertake additional reasonable tasks on an ad-hoc basis as business needs may dictate.
**Key Responsibilities/Duties**:
- To plan and schedule workflow to ensure customer service delivery is maintained.
- To prepare and update weekly and monthly planning schedules.
- Maintain a product database and update BOM amends.
- Produce monthly reports of capacity for each area using CM01 within SAP.
- Maintain a database - Masterdata/SAP with planning data.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding supply issues and resolutions.
**Experience/Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of SAP (or a similar ERP system) in a scheduling environment.
- The ability to interpret and manipulate data to produce meaningful reports and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of I.B.P. advantageous.
- Basic Excel knowledge.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multi-task.
- A good team player.
- Organised and task focused.
- Able to work independently and use initiative to problem solve.
