**AJ Chambers are currently working with a Legal 500 law firm, they are seeking a Senior Manager or Director for their specialist tax team.
This is a role that is fairly evenly split between complex tax advisory (across all areas) and tax investigations.

**Tax Advisory and Investigations Senior Manager or Director Duties**
- Providing tax advisory work to a range of clients - areas of work include: corporate international, restructures, real estate, private client, non-dom and VAT
- You will also work directly on tax investigations - this includes: disclosures, contentions, COP8&9 enquiries, forensic work and complex disputes
- Assisting in the development of new work - given the reputation of the firm, there are not many barriers to developing business and often work comes through via referral

**Tax Advisory and Investigations Senior Manager or Director Requirements**
- CTA is fairly important to demonstrate a breadth of tax knowledge
- You can be experienced in any discipline of tax, but MUST be happy to diversify
- A desire to constantly improve with the aim to be the best that you can be
