**Hours**:
Hybrid - 37 hours per week. Flexible start time of 8am to 10am and flexible finish time of 4pm to 6pm. Additional flexible options may be available at the line managers discretion and in line with the organisation’s needs. Some occasional work in the eveningsand early mornings may be required.

**Job Purpose**

To assist the Head of Marketing in carrying out marketing and

PR activities to raise the profile of the business, plus some

general office support and administrative duties

**Main Duties -**

**Marketing campaigns and database management**
- Identify companies within different target markets and perform market research as required
- Keep the marketing database up-to-date, importing new data, updating records and performing the necessary cross checks
- Prepare marketing statistics
- Electronic and digital filing as required
- Support the BDM team with lead processing
- Monitoring live-chat on the website and responding to customer enquiries

**Event Management and hosted Networking**
- Contribute to the project plan and preparation of checklists
- Research audiences
- Research venues and catering, supplier liaison as required
- Internal communication and diary co-ordination
- Co-ordinate the distribution of invitations, monitor responses, manage follow ups and manage cancellations
- Prepare supporting materials (literature packs, promotional merchandise, delegate lists, name badges, place names and table plans)
- Event set up and clear down
- Greet and manage delegates
- Networking as appropriate
- Co-ordinate follow up activity, monitor referrals, actions and measure and report outcomes
- Edit and / or draft articles for the E-newsletter as required
- Distribute enews
- Upload articles to website using the Content Management System
- Monitor website analytics and report back as required

**Social Media**
- Research and produce bespoke content for Twitter/ LinkedIn
- Track, measure and report on social media activities
- Keep abreast on emerging technologies and developments within the digital marketing field
- Maintain a commercial focus at all times

**Literature and stationery**
- Monitor stock levels
- Handle deliveries, checking accuracy and quality of goods, co-ordinate the distribution of materials
- Contribute ideas for new campaigns and supporting literature
- Draft copy and design ideas for new literature
- Collate suitable imagery and create a photographer’s brief where bespoke imagery is required
- Prepare literature packs as required, primarily for prospect meetings and distribution at events
- Prepare distribution lists, plan and manage the distribution process as appropriate

**Public Relations**
- Help identify and research suitable client and internal stories
- Liaise with stakeholders, co-ordinating diaries for photo shoots and interviews and source props as required
- Monitor and record printed and online press coverage
- Distribute press items of note to interested parties
- Research suitable media outlets, editors and presenters as required (e.g. printed and online press, social media, trade press, TV and radio)

**Impact Measures and General Duties**
- Co-ordinate and manage impact studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of the business
- General administrative duties
- Demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement and development of all systems and processes
- Any other duties required by the Marketing Manager

**Person Criteria**
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Marketing techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Alibility to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
