Are you
1. A registered MH Nurse/Social Worker/OT, that holds a professional registration.
2. A keen, compassionate, dynamicmental health practitioner with experience of working within mental health settings across all ages.
3. Passionate about crisis work and ensuring safe and effective interventions are delivered to service users, their families and other professionals.
4. An experienced clinician who empowers others and is able to support a culture of change within services.
5. A good communicator who strives to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.
6. Able to work effectively within a team and with our partner agencies.
7. Able to meet the travel requirements of the post and able to travel to locations all across Derbyshire to facilitate assessments.
8. Able to provide clinical oversight and support to mental health peer workers, support with teaching and training opportunities, and lead on staff development and be a visible role model that echoes the values of the Trust and the vision of the service.
9. Experienced in working across two or more specialisms of Children and Young People Mental Health (CYPMH), Learning Disability & Autism, Adult and Older Adult, or have the enthusiasm to undertake additional training as part of our staff training programme for crisis.

- An innovative collaborative developing service within Derbyshire providing a 24/7 open access helpline for an all age, all need service for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
- The team consists of staff from our Third Sector Organisation P3 as well as Clinical staff from Derbyshire Healthcare. Working alongside the P3 workers are advisors from Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health who specialise in supporting children and young people.
- The team promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, providing a triage function and crisis response for individuals coming into contact with Emergency services.
- The Clinical team works closely with Derbyshire Police, East Midlands Ambulance Service and social care, as part of the Joined Up Care Derbyshire programme.
- The service further delivers timely and responsive face to face assessments where indicated.
- The service provides local residents with direct access to the very best mental health care and support.
- The Service encompasses the NHS principle; right care, right time and right place.
- We hold regular interface meetings with all our partner agencies to review and evaluate the service.
- The service encourages working relationships with service users and local Derbyshire residents with lived experience of mental ill health.

Full time 37.5 hours per week (part time hours considered) over a 24/7 shift rota.

**Base**: Ripley Town Hall

The Mental Health Helpline & Support Service is a new developing service that has been developed as part of the wider urgent care pathway. The development of these services will seek to ensure that we are better meeting the needs of our service users and carers by providing 24/7 open access, and a greater range of responsive and flexible service.
- Provide clinical oversight and decision making to the support line ensuring a comprehensive triage assessment process and onward support and facilitation to wider services and needs based interventions.
- Support and oversee the formulation and implementation of appropriate care plans/packages of care for the individual prior to their discharge to ensure that their mental health care is seamless throughout the care pathway.
