We are looking for a Planner to join our growing team and oversee various civil projects.

**Areas of the job involve**:

- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Assign team members to particular Projects.
- Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a programme of work for each project assigned.
- Create Tender Programmes of work to assist in bids by the Sales Team.
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Liaising with quantity surveyors, project manager, designers, and wider project team
- Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
- Working with Operations Director and Sales team to calculate the resources needed for a project
- Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (milestones hit and percentage of project completion.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports

**Here’s what we need from you**:

- 3+ years previous planning experience
- Experience in using MS Project and Primavera P6 (OPC) Software
- Project Management experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Analytical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- UK Driving Licence
