- qualified Management Accountant to join their team. You will be working with a supportive team of fifteen, with one direct report

**Client Details**
My client is based in St. Helens and has been established for over fifty years. They have sites all across the UK and also distribute globally. They have a fantastic, supportive working ethos which is showcased by their low staff turnover. My client hasexciting plans for future of the business and also the role.
**Description**
The key responsibilities for the Management Accountant are:
- Prepare management accounts
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with year end statutory accounts.
- Attend and assist in budget and forecasting meetings
- Work with Finance manager to Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and implement changes
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Arranging payment and posting of journals
- Ad hoc duties
**Profile**
- Has experience in a similar role
- QBE or part qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Experience using an ERP system
- Proficient in Excel
