**Job Overview**
GIANT FREIGHT are seeking a reliable and dedicated self-employed owner driver Courier Driver to join our team. We may have vans available if you are an experienced, hard working, reliable driver please apply.

ONGOING WORK (NOT JUST FOR PEAK)

MONDAY TO FRIDAY (WEEKEND OVERTIME AVAILABLE)

7.30AM START

7 DAY PAYMENT TERMS (£200+ day rate in own van - MWB minimum LWB preferred)

TRAINING PROVIDED

**Duties**
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport.
- Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) as required during deliveries.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service are essential.

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
