Midland Fish Company are looking to recruit a Factory Operative, but a more accurate description would be a Factory Allrounder.

We're looking for someone with a can do attitude that is able to fill in gaps across all working areas of the factory, including cleaning, skinning, descaling, boning, goods in, picking and packing, as well as delivery driver on a needs must basis.

Experience in a fish processing factory would be nice but is not a requirement of the role as we can upskill people to do the tasks required. Below are a few other skills that would be nice to see;
- Full UK Drivers License - This is a must as we want someone that can learn our delivery rounds and fill in as and when needed i.e. holidays.
- Basic training in food safety and/or hygiene nice to have but again we can provide this if not.
- Can do attitude - Someone that takes pride in their work with a willingness to help the business improve.
- Prior experience working in a factory.
- Able to work in a physical, manual labour environment.

Tenure: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 34 hour per week plus overtime (5+ hours per week)

Shift Pattern: 6am - 2pm Tuesday to Friday, 4am - 10am Saturday

Location: Port of Fleetwood, FY7 6NN
