Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them overcome challenges to achieve their full potential? A highly regarded secondary school in the East Grinstead area is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their team from April 2025.

**About the Role**:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning caused by social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students to help them develop positive behaviour strategies.
- Working closely with students who may exhibit challenging behaviours, helping them to build confidence and resilience.
- Supporting teachers in managing classroom behaviour and creating a calm and focused learning environment.
- Acting as a positive role model, promoting respectful and constructive behaviour.
- Collaborating with pastoral and SEND teams to develop and implement tailored behaviour support plans.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them feel valued and supported.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Passionate about working with young people and helping them overcome challenges.
- Calm, empathetic, and resilient, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Experienced in working with young people, particularly those with social, emotional, or behavioural needs (preferred but not essential).
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset.
