**Senior Automation Engineer**

Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet by working together with thousands of food service businesses to ensure that greenhouse gas emissions are reduced by hundreds and thousands of tonnes.

As Senior Automation Engineer you will support the Group Automation Engineer in executing project across the Olleco Group, support our Anaerobic Digestion, Biofuel and UCO plants at all company sites. You will also be responsible for projects from concept tocompletion.

**A little bit more about the role**:

- Prioritise that safety comes first in all that you do and supporting colleagues with this
- Support key stakeholders in projects at production sites from an automation, control, electrical and instrumentation perspective.
- Provide EICA technical support for production and engineering teams, including fault finding and solution implementation
**Essential skills**:

- Proven ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs
- Competent at working on and fault finding on panels with voltages up to 400VAC
- Working experience of Allen Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLC’s including program development and software maintenance and fault finding
- Working experience of Rockwell FactoryTalk SE SCADA, Rockwell FactoryTalk including configuration and fault finding
- Working experience of industrial communication protocols including, Ethernet/IP, Modbus Serial, Modbus TCP, and Profibus DP
- Working experience of Rockwell Powerflex drives including configuration and fault finding
- Experience with industrial instrumentation such as level, flow, temperature
**Desirable skills**:

- Full lifecycle software development
- Specification of electrical and automation systems
- Working with, and co-ordination of, external contractors
