**The** **Despatch Operative Role**

Working in a busy dispatch department, the successful applicant will be physically fit and active.

Reporting to the Despatch Team Leader, your duties will include:

- On time, effective & efficient picking and packing of customer orders, including liaison with production departments and stock control team
- Ensure the efficient despatch of orders to customers OTIF and in line with KPI’s and targets
- Communication with courier and haulage service providers to ensure smooth transportation of goods to customer’s premises
- Working with team to ensure processes are in place to ensure the highest standards of picking accuracy are maintained
- On time and accurate input and maintenance of data, including regular checks and reconciliations
- Housekeeping: Effective utilisation of warehouse space - keep a clean, tidy warehouse in accordance with the standards set by management
- Compliance with Health and Safety procedures in line with current Health and Safety legislation and company requirements

**Hours** - 08.00am - 17.00pm, Monday to Friday

- Good timekeeping (essential)
- Good attendance record (essential)
- The ability to perform at a high quality level
