We are currently looking to recruit a full-timeJunior Area Visual Merchandiser to support our field-based Visual MerchandisingTeam.

The Junior Area Visual Merchandiser isresponsible for five OKA stores in the South-West region: Berkshire,Buckinghamshire, Marlborough, Somerset and Oxfordshire. This role is full-time, with a Monday to Friday working pattern.

Reporting directly to the Head ofVisual Merchandising the Junior Area Visual Merchandiser is responsible for providingkey regional support to the field based Regional Visual Merchandising Team.

Working on projects both independentlyand as part of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that instorevisual merchandising is both innovative and in line with brand positioning at aconsistently high standard that meets business expectation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring brand visual merchandisingstandards are of a consistently high standard
- Ensuring orders of display product areplaced and delivered within agreed timeframes, including use of systems and liaisingwith management teams
- Assisting on New Store Openings andRefits within region, and assisting within other regions when required
- Working with the Visual Merchandiserto plan effective furniture range moves within store
- Responsibility for the delivery andplacement of display product into stores during new range launches and NewStore Openings
- Moving furniture from deliveryvehicles into store
- Painting, decorating and general DIY
- Constantevaluation of the market and competitors

ABOUT YOU
- 2+ years experience in visualmerchandising, preferably within the interiors sector
- Experience in retail interior stylingis advantageous
- Design and/or interiors qualificationdesirable
- A creative individual who can provideportfolio examples to illustrate previous successes
- Commercial understanding of the powerof Visual Merchandising and its ability to influence product and brandperformance
- Fullycompetent with all Microsoft Packages
- Strongcommunication skills, both written and verbal, adept at promoting andexplaining ideas to all levels of the business
- Projectmanagement skills, including the ability to work under pressure and todeadlines
- Highattention to detail
- Able to workindependently on projects with line manager support
- Full, clean driving licence
- A positiveand flexible working attitude
- Flexible approach to UK wide travel, includingovernight stays
- Good eye for display and design
- Good DIY skills (painting, using powertools, lifting heavy furniture etc.)
- A creative, problem-solving spirit
- Passion for the OKA brand
