**Are you interested in an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and to be part of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team which contributes to a pathway aimed at supporting people with difficulties associated with diagnoses of Personality Disorders and Complex Emotional Needs?**

We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to train in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with a view to transitioning to band 7 upon completing their training and accreditation in DBT.

We are seeking to recruit 4 x Band 6 Trainee Psychological Therapists, who will be supported to complete a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in DBT.

This is an exciting opportunity to receive specialist training in a psychological therapy, whilst also being involved in service development, evaluation and innovative approaches. You will also be a key player in supporting co-produced visions of service development.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for motivated, compassionate team players, who are passionate about further developing and improving services.

Alongside this education and training, the trainees will work within the growing team of Psychological Professionals in their services to contribute to all aspects of the Personality Disorder & Complex Emotional Needs pathway. This will include playing a part in leading the delivery of the DBT programme. Other aspects of the role will include supporting staff within teams to work in a DBT-informed way, developing and delivering training for staff, supporting with the collection and analysis of outcome measures, and developing further aspects of the pathway within the broader care group.

We already have several practitioners, from diverse professional backgrounds, who have trained in DBT and are running programmes throughout the service. We are fully committed to further developing the pathway for people with Personality Disorders and Complex Emotional Needs, to consistently deliver high quality, evidence-based interventions.

You will link in with the wider psychological professions network within the Care Group.
