Junior Software Developer

**Overview**
This is a hybrid role where you will be required to be in the office 3 days a week.
**Responsibilities**:
- Further development of existing in-house MES system.
- Assist in the Management of SQL Server databases.
- Analyse, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Develop automated reporting tools.
- Compile supporting documentation for the developed solutions.
- Plan, organise, and manage own time to meet project requirements.
- Report project progress and risks to project teams and Software Team Leader.
- Participate in code peer reviews with other members of software team.
- Involvement with the complete solution lifecycle, including requirements review, design, implementation, testing, training, support, specifications, instructions, and change notes.
**Skills, attributes & experience**:
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Up to 2yrs experience working in a relevant role.
- Experience using C#, ASP.Net, CSS, T-SQL / SQL server.
- Some experience with JavaScript would be beneficial.
- Experience troubleshooting SQL statements.
- Knowledge of MS SQL server, database design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and self-motivated with a customer service ethic.
- Ability to multitask and context switch effectively between different activities.
- Flexible team player.
