**Experienced Residential Support Worker and Senior Residential Support Worker for Children - Daventry.**

**Full Time (Monday to Sunday on rotational basis)**

**£11.50 to £14.00 hourly rate**

We are currently looking for a hardworking, caring, compassionate Residential Support Worker and Senior Residential Support Worker for Children to join our friendly residential services, based in Daventry.

We create a homely environment where children will feel safe, secure, and nurtured in their critical formative years, enabling them to build resilience and develop into adults who are not disadvantaged by their history. As a Support Worker you’ll assist individually and as part of a team to help young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning disabilities achieve their full potential.

We are looking for Residential Support Workers and Senior Residential Support Workers who are compassionate, caring and prepared to go the extra mile for our young people.

- Possess empathetic, respectful, and positive personal characteristics.
- Demonstrate confidence and calmness in challenging situations.
- Show flexibility where required.
- Be able to recognise and identify problems and take appropriate action.
- Be able to be self-motivated and accept and take on levels of responsibility where necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to deal with Young People physical, medical, emotional, and behavioural needs as well as provide individual support as appropriate.
- Ability to take direction from others and to learn from own experience to develop and improve practice.

**Requirements of the Role**:
**Support Worker**:
Must have residential care expereince (childcare preferred)

Must be 21 years old

available to work full time (Monday to Sunday on rotation)

Confident working with challenging behaviour

A genuine interest in making a difference

**Senior Support Worker: -**

Must be at least 21 years old

must have residentail childcare experience (minimum 1 to 2 years)

available to work full time (Monday to Sunday on rotation)

NVQ Level 3

Confident working with challenging behaviour

A genuine interest in making a difference

Report writing skills and tech savvy
