**About the Cloud Team**

We are transforming our technological landscape to be a cloud-first organisation. We've started by creating an Internal Developer Platform to empower our product teams self-serve and adopt cloud technologies to innovate and evolve the business.

**What you'll do**

You'll be a cloud platform product manager working in a team that's focused on discovery in partnership with the wider product teams, and delivery of this new platform. This is a key part of HL's strategy and is an exciting opportunity to help shape thefuture of HL. You'll partner closely with colleagues from Engineering, Architecture, Data and the wider business stakeholders to continue driving and prioritising internal customer value to unlock outcomes and move the needle forward.

**Responsibilities**
- Actively contribute towards the product vision, strategy, goals and objectives.
- Take ownership and communicate key platform services and capabilities to evangelise the backlog prioritise and roadmap effectively.
- Be user-centric and empathetic to articulate pain points as problems and unlock new opportunities to collaborate and influence technical solutions with your engineering peers.
- Work directly with your team daily to identify new ideas, opportunities and address blockers proactively.
- Progress strategies to ensure the success of the platform and drive adoption.
- Constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the customer problem and delivered on the business opportunity through quantitative and qualitative measures
- Champion and support the development of the Product Management function across the business.

**About you**

**Essential criteria**
- 3+ years' experience in a technical/platform Product Manager/Owner role.
- Experience working with cross-functional agile teams (scrum teams/squads).
- Technically minded and have experience managing cloud services/tooling/technologies for software microservices/functions.
- A fundamental grasp of DevOps, DevSecOps and SRE practices.
- Balancing tactical trade-offs with longer team strategic goals in mind.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of using both quantitative and qualitative inputs to make informed product decisions to deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes (where applicable).
- Entrepreneurial spirit, driven, motivated with a learning mindset and not afraid to ask for help and direction.

**Desirable criteria**
- Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech experience.
- Start-up/scale-up experience.
- Building cloud-based platforms beneficial to support your technical influence with the wider teams.
