If you feel you meet the following criteria, then we would like to hear from you:

- You can study to be a PWP with us, at one of two levels: Our Graduate Certificate is relevant for those without an undergraduate degree, who can demonstrate they have the skills to be able to study at level 6, and our Postgraduate Certificate is relevant for those who already have an undergraduate degree.

Trainee PWPs will be supported to learn and develop their skills around screening patients’ suitability for the service and treating patients using step 2 interventions based on the principles of CBT for mild to moderate depression and anxiety disorders. Intervention will be delivered via a combination of telephone, video, digital, psychoeducational courses and one-to-one in person.
Trainee PWPs will work closely with a Qualified and Senior PWP’s who will offer regular one to one and group supervision and support you to meet the requirements of the programme.
Further training and support are offered by the University of Southampton programme tutors. This will be delivered via a combination of lectures, skills workshops, online and on-campus learning to develop clinical skills and meet requirements for university assignments.
Your focus will be on providing excellent patient care and treatment through Evidence based Low Intensity psychological interventions. The role itself is both demanding and rewarding and we are looking for people with enthusiasm and passion to join our service. Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential.
A requirement of our service is a hybrid working approach of face-to-face patient work, base working and home working. We are open evenings and weekends also.
