**Court Orders Team Leader**

As a Barclays Court Orders Team Leader, you will join us at a time of growth in our Investigations function. You will oversee receipt, analysis and timely response to court orders and other regulatory, judicial and legal documentation and ensure the logging of all requests and support provided on the Case Management System. You will also be required to support wider criminal disruption efforts by identifying emerging threats and links in the court orders requests and ongoing or emerging investigations within the bank.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Being responsible for the operational receipt and responses to court orders and other regulatory, judicial and legal documentation submitted by global issuing authorities
- Ensuring all team staff are fully trained, accredited and have the necessary systems access to maintain sustainable operational resilience to meet evolving BAU operational demands
- Including additional management responsibilities, managing own case load and be the team SME to other areas of the Bank that may have received a Court Order directly
- Promoting and demonstrating strict adherence to security and confidentiality requirements and protocols in the processing and release of sensitive information
- Using excellent communication skills to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working closely with COT Operations Manager to develop a high performing team through active personal development and performance management
- Using excellent problem solving and team working skills to resolve complex, high
- priority Court Orders
- Using strong analytical skills to evaluate and then simplify complex information contained within a Court Order, collecting data & presenting to the issuing authority

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience of investigations and legal frameworks, clear decision making in a highly regulated control environment, from a corporate, civilian or military law enforcement environment
- Excellent time management skills: must manage workloads effectively to complete complex and high-priority tasks within target timescales
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to engage and negotiate with stakeholders in a multinational and multicultural organisation
- Exceptional experience of working with sensitive data and case management systems to a high level

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- MCIPD or equivalent HRM qualification / experience.
- Legal / regulatory or law enforcement background.
- Second EU language a bonus.

**Where will you be working?**
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
