**4x4 Vehicle Technician / Mechanic** required to join an existing team of experts based in Rugby paying a salary in the region of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.

A highly regarded family run business with a history spanning over 45 years are looking for a talented **Vehicle Technician / Mechanic** to join their growing team in **Rugby**. Boasting an unrivalled level of service and knowledge, our client has built a strong reputation as 4 x 4 specialists within a mechanical service and repair discipline as well as customisation and expedition preparation.

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining the reputation they have built completing routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of makes and models within a 4 x 4 marque. You will also work on vehicle conversionsand upgrades to both new and used vehicles offering customers the best gear, upgrades and accessories for their vehicles.

In return the successful Vehicle Technician / Mechanic will join a friendly team environment and benefit from a salary in the region of **£28,000 - £33,000 per annum**. Our client has a strong focus on **training and development** offering the latest courses to develop your skills and add to your career portfolio.

Working hours are set to **Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm** with alternate **half-day Saturdays 8.30am - 12.30pm**. The ethos within the company follows a Quality First approach and speed of work takes a back seat to ensure quality of work can thrive within the workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities of the**Vehicle Technician / Mechanic**:

- Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair work including light maintenance and more complex repairs
- Carry out general servicing, MOT preparations and reworks
- Complete vehicle upgrades, conversions and fitment of accessories
- To complete all associated administration tasks relating to the maintenance work carried out as listed within the workshop processes document
- To carry out any day-to-day housekeeping duties to ensure that the workshop area is clean and tidy and is a safe working environment supporting a culture of safe working
- To contribute to maintaining workshop equipment as required to ensure equipment is safe and reliable to use

The ideal **Vehicle Technician / Mechanic** will have:

- Current experience working as an Automotive Technician or experience working in a similar role
- Experience working on 4 x 4 vehicles would be an advantage but not essential
- Be committed to delivering excellence
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen eye for detail

**Working Hours**:
Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm

Alternate Saturdays: 8.30am - 12.30pm
