Care Coordinator

**Coactive Care** is a local residential care provider, which provides complex care over two residential sites in Torquay and manages a large staffing team with over 2500 hours of one-to-one support a week. We are looking for an experienced care coordinator who is looking for a new challenge, who has the right attributes and experience to allow us to develop and expand this role within our organisation.
**Full Description**:
The Care Coordinator’s primary role at Coactive Care is to work with the registered managers and team leaders to maintain and manage the rotas for all the key areas of our organisation.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the rotas across the organisation are managed, maintaining safe staffing levels that meet the number of nominal and one to one hours required to maintain the effective care and support for each of our residents.
This will also include managing general rosters for care, ancillary and non-ancillary staff, as well as regularly updating and making changes required through planned absences and sickness and to ensure that effective cover is maintained through agency cover.
You will be required to work effectively with all the relevant managers to publish rotas 2 weeks in advance, whilst maintaining and updating rotas daily, ensuring that the rotas are live and current.
You will work with agencies and employed bank staff to ensure that shifts are covered through planned agency cover, and non-planned emergency cover where required.
You will be responsible for assisting payroll and accounts to maintain accurate payroll information, including clocking in and out management, agency billing, and working with HR and managers where required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with Care Managers, Team Leaders, and Seniors to maintain and update master rotas where required.
- Maintain accurate records and to ensure that all rotas are up to date and correct.
- Identify trends to predict future requirements
- Maintain agreed schedules and work effectively with agencies to book long and short-term cover as required.
- Ensure all staff members receive published and pushed personal rotas to their PDA devices.
- Identify absence trends and concerns, and work with HR and Line mangers to identify suitable actions.
- Ensure the effective placement of staff to meet client needs, working with managers to ensure that the correct matching of staff is provided to meet the residents needs
- Prepare management reports to aid with staffing capacity and recruitment.
- Support with the day-to-day responsibilities of the team when required
- Work with payroll and HR and gather clocking in and out data to ensure that payroll information is comprehensive and accurate.
- To effectively update and work with HR on holidays and sickness information
- Do any other reasonable things your manager needs you to do, including helping with any related and non-related administration work
