**Central Alliance**, a member of the **RSK Group**, now has an exciting opportunity for a **Land Surveyor** to join the fast-paced team based in **Wakefield, UK.**

**The Role**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Understand and adhere the company SHEQ policies to ensure the safe and compliant completion of surveying activities
- Adhere to working instructions from internal and external clients
- Carry out topographical and associated geomatic surveys, in accordance with company procedures and best practice, typically involving a combination of Total Station, 3d Laser Scanning and GNSS observations
- Undertake post processing of data and production of outputs using survey software
- Compile survey reports and documentation, in conjunction with the Project & CAD Manager

Maintain vehicles and survey equipment and in line with company expectations
- Undertake internal and external training, as part of personal professional development plan
- Demonstrate a keen attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Working across the UK to travel to client sites, as and when required.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Full valid UK driving licence
- Experience in the use of Total Stations and GNSS is essential
- Experience in the use of 3d Laser Scanners is preferred, but not essential
- Experience of using n4ce and Trimble Realworks software is desirable but not essential
- CSCS card holder preferred
- Relevant NVQ or degree level qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Depending on qualifications already held the post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Up to £31,000 Depending on experience
