At Jaunty Goat, we are always on the look-out for like-minded coffee and food fanatics, with a passion for sustainability and an understanding of genuine, honest hospitality.

Since we started trading in 2015 on Bridge Street, we have sought to create a welcoming atmosphere for our visitors to catch up over coffee. In early 2019, based on our experiences at Bridge Street and an invested interest in expanding as environmentally conscious as possible, we were excited to venture into a bright, communal space on Northgate Street as the rst plant-based venue in Chester. Last year we launched our Bakery (also on Bridge St), which has given us the platform to create as much as we can in-house - sourcing local, organic produce as well as showcasing our suppliers, and developing what we can offer in the most sustainable and considered way we possibly can.

The Job

As a Team Member at Jaunty Goat, you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.

This is a varied and active role, meaning you will be trained in all areas of service, from kitchen, to oor and bar. You will be responsible for consistently producing high quality, well-presented speciality coffees and dishes to brand standards, whilst con dently interacting with guests providing excellent customer service.

In addition, alongside your colleagues, you will be accountable for ensuring COSHH, food safety, and H&S are followed, with any incidents reported in line with documented procedures.

Finally, this role requires you to be an ambassador for Jaunty Goat, making it your responsibility to con dently deliver information about our own speciality coffee offering, beverages and dishes and our commitments to sustainability. Therefore, a passion for coffee, understanding of origins and the journey of bean to cup, as well as an interest in cultivating espresso and lter coffee recipes is essential for success in this role.

The Perks
