**Regional Financial Reporting Manager, EMEA Fareham £60-70k**

Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting a well-known global business in the recruitment of an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their EMEA team.

The primary focus of the role will be helping to implement strategic change and maintain a secure & robust financial reporting framework across the EMEA region and will be the SME for the financial reporting systems.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Providing direct regional support to the Shared Service Reporting teams and markets in the month-end close reporting cycle process, giving guidance on their monthly reporting submissions.
- Working with the Shared Services Centre team and in-market Finance Managers across all markets in EMEA, improving understanding between the different parts of the Finance function.
- Engaging in-market Finance Managers, the SSC and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review best practices and alignment and establish process improvements to help provide deeper experience around complex issues
- Leading monthly regional finance meetings with the in-market finance managers.
- Working with the Regional Risks & Controls Manager, drive a standardised regional balance sheet review process using Blackline capabilities to provide oversight and set expectations around the accuracy and integrity in the balance sheet accounts / values.
- Manage the centralised financial reporting of Current Estimated Credit Losses (CECL) and Returns reserves, proactively engaging with the in-market finance managers, to identify other centralised opportunities.
- Partner with the Corporate Controllership team, working proactively on improvements to US GAAP reporting, global policies and accounting to mitigate risk and enable growth and scalability.
- Provide Business Controllers with guidance on complex Customer agreements to ensure implications of terms understood and accounted for in line with US GAAP.
- Partner with manufacturing & distribution finance to drive the integration of local, regional and corporate accounting initiatives
- Providing regional finance systems expertise and being the regional SME.
