Generalist Vocational Tutor

Based on-site at HMP Ranby you will work with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.

As a Generalist Vocational Tutor you will cover classes across our vocational curriculum including delivery of forklift counterbalance and CSCS courses.

The working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and Friday 08:00 - 12:30.

What are we looking for?
- Counterbalance forklift truck qualification
- Level 3 Assessors qualification
- CSCS delivery experience
- Multi Skills or Highways certificate
- An expert in your field with substantial experience
- Experience of delivering training is desirable
- A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable

If you don’t currently hold a teaching qualification, we are able to support you through the appropriate qualifications and assessments, as part of your probationary period.
