We are an established engineering subcontract machining and design company involved in the manufacture of precision machined components for various industrial sectors. Due to increasing workloads we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC miller to joinour team. Our company is based in Melton Mowbray Leicester

**Key responsibilities of the role**
- Program, set and operate Haas CNC milling machines is essential.
- Offline programming would be highly advantageous but not essential.
- Quality focused and capable of working to a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
- Responsible for producing components from 1 off's and short batches across a wide variety of component types in various materials and too tight tolerances when required.
- Must be competent in monitoring tool life, adjust tooling offsets and change inserts unsupervised.
- Fully utilise modern machining techniques and fixture requirements.
- Inspect and be responsible and accountable for signing off your own work to ensure it meets with the required customer drawing tolerances.
- Manual machining - Milling and Turning experience would be an advantage but not essential for this role.
- Must have a flexible approach and attitude as our customers often require a quick turnaround service.
- Experienced in CNC programming Haas milling machines, setting and operating unsupervised.
- Flexible approach and attitude due to the variety of work.
- Must have the experience to work unsupervised to achieve the desired customer component requirements.
- Looking to join a small team of precision engineers and working as part of a team.
- Ideally, apprentice served in machining disciplines.
- Knowledge of good machine working practices.
- Experience of machining to tight tolerances.
