We are searching for a laundry assistant to support our business in delivery of a great laundry services to local hotels and clients.

The laundry assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning, pressing, and folding clothes and other têxtile articles and maintaining the general cleanliness of the laundrette.

To be successful as a laundry assistant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have experience of 2 years or more in this field of work.

Laundry Assistant Responsibilities:

- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding clothing and other têxtile items.
- Must be able to manage and use the roller. This is something that can be learnt as well with the right attitude and determination.
- Washing, Drying, Pressing clothes and beddings.
- Knows how to deal with clients, answer queries, to guide customers on how to use the washing machines.
- Responsibility for general cleanliness of the Laundrette

We need an assistant to start ASAP. Flexibility and evening availability is a must.

The assistant must be flexible to work during the day, evening and weekends with varying hours and shift work.

This is a part-time post initially with hours, days and times that may vary and may increase with seasonality.

Pay rate £10/h

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
