**Project Surveyor**
**Home working with travel throughout the South East UK**
**£44,500 per annum plus benefits & Car Allowance (£5,800)**
Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, you will be responsible for delivering construction projects and management of supply chain relationships. You’ll also be responsible for specifications, tendering and project delivery works through supplier relationships.
Examples of projects include:
- Homeownership (Leasehold) works
- Care home decorations and other works
- One off works requiring specifications
The project will be part of delivery of core investment programmes, there is a key interdependency with peers to ensure the delivery of the Property directorate’s overall objectives in line with the business plan.
You will be operating and leading in an environment of significant change.
The key purposes of the role are:
- Accountability for the delivery of projects to either start on site stage or completion on site.
- To implement projects in coordination with the property delivery team.
- To take responsibility for liaison with internal and external stakeholder relationships including contractors, portfolio strategy team, sustainability team and housing/care operations.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory/statutory and internal governance/policy requirements and make recommendations for improvements
- To build a resilient service and organisation.
About you:
- To be successful in this role you will have/be;
- A track record of delivering property projects, including homeownership (S20) programmes.
- A demonstrable track record of engaging with high value, complex partnering contracts delivering high levels of customer satisfaction on time and within budget.
- Has lead teams through change ensuring that working practices deliver effective and efficient ways of working and meet local need.
- Has worked with colleagues and customers in reviewing service offers and specifications that deliver improved services and communicated effectively to both staff and residents.
- An effective people manager with strong leadership skills and ability to motivate individuals and teams to achieve and exceed performance requirements.
You must also be:
- Preferably educated to degree level or substantial relevant experience.
- Preferably a professional qualification or working towards an appropriate to the role e.g. MCIOB, MRICS
