I am looking for 5 experienced, dedicated and pro-active Learning Support Assistant - PMLD to join a top Primary School in Mitcham as soon as possible. I have 5 positions available to start in January based in Primary Schools working small classes supportingKS2 children with PMLD and other complex cognitive difficulties. Pupils have complex learning and medical needs, most are wheelchair bound and are unable to communicate with the outside world - this means that a background in social care or nursing and someschool based TA experience will be a huge advantage. You will be expected to support them with Hoisting, Manual Handling Needs. There will be comprehensive on the job training and lots of support both through our client schools (induction training, PECS, Makatonand Team Teach) as well as free CPD from Reeson Education covering Safeguarding, Introduction to SEN, Phonics, Effective Listening, Behaviour Management etc.)

You will be working with students aged between 5 - 11, all of whom have statements of Special Education Needs. Most of the children you will be working with have very limited communication skills, and some are completely non-verbal. You will be working either1:1 with a particular student or supporting a class alongside a team of fellow LSAs and the class teacher.

**Ideally, you will have the following experience**:

- PMLD experience
- LSA or care experience
- SEND experience
